Fall Fun!

In October, we had "a Minion reasons to be drug free!"

Mid-November: Building lizard habitats as a final activity about adaptations and survival.

Students recently trained with Acadia National Park rangers to become Junior Park Rangers. Students participated in skits that highlighted the many different kinds of jobs rangers have at the park. The class will soon travel to Acadia National Park to complete their ranger training and receive their ranger badges!

Last week, second and third grade students traveled to Bangor to visit the Museum of Art with Mrs. Bosse. The staff there were very knowledgeable and kind to us!

Nurse Jana Stops By

Nurse Jana stopped by recently to see how kids were doing with their teeth brushing skills. She also brought in Leo the Lion to demonstrate the proper way to get those sugar bugs!

Determining Elapsed Time

Students are learning how to determine elapsed time, which is the amount of time that passes between a start time and an end time. Here is a nice video tutorial on using number lines to solve:

On Monday, third graders were recognized for their perseverance during state testing. The students were surprised to receive "You Did It!" bands for their efforts, as well as some for the Bear Paw student of the month and perfect attendance.
