Students recently trained with Acadia National Park rangers to become Junior Park Rangers. Students participated in skits that highlighted the many different kinds of jobs rangers have at the park. The class will soon travel to Acadia National Park to complete their ranger training and receive their ranger badges!

Trip to University of Maine Museum of Art
Last week, second and third grade students traveled to Bangor to visit the Museum of Art with Mrs. Bosse. The staff there were very knowledgeable and kind to us!

Nurse Jana Stops By
Nurse Jana stopped by recently to see how kids were doing with their teeth brushing skills. She also brought in Leo the Lion to demonstrate the proper way to get those sugar bugs!

Determining Elapsed Time
Students are learning how to determine elapsed time, which is the amount of time that passes between a start time and an end time. Here is a nice video tutorial on using number lines to solve:
